Life brings change, and sometimes ya’ just gotta go with it. An unexpected opportunity will move my family to SLC in the next few months, and I have made the tough decision that my beloved, newly acquired vintage trailer is one too many a complication for me to deal with at this time. This is a lovely trailer with all it’s original features in great shape. Came from original owner; still have the original dealer’s listing and all the catalogs. Original black California plate. Needs a little work but worth it to have such an authentic trailer. Goes into storage Tuesday; must sell ASAP!

Full kitchen with all original fixtures: 4 burner stove, oven. Refrigerator/freezer (runs on both propane and electric). Fridge has pretty blue and yellow interior. Dual Sink. Heater

Kitchen dining table converts to sleeping area for smaller person.

Living room: 2 bench couches which can pull out to form a very large single bed (larger than queen size). 74″ in length. You can also pull one out and leave one up. Drop down table has two additional leaf inserts. Overhead pull out sleeping loft.

Bathroom: 3-1/2 ft x 20″ tub. Small sink, toilet. Has water damage from an uncovered vent in the ceiling.

Electrical lighting throughout each of the three areas, and one DC light in each of the three areas.

Tons of storage.

Privacy screen is clean, unriped, and magnets still work.

Bullseye acrylic is in perfect condition.

All cabinetry is intact.

Water tank looks brand new, as do the pumps and tubing, etc running in and out of it.

Floor appears solid; I feel very confident of this as I have inspected it very thoroughly.

EXTERIOR:

Has all 4 original hubcabs, sway bars and chains. Stabilizers are 100% solid.

Skin is in great shape, no tears. Hole from an old antenna. Pulled away in one section where there is some water damage to the wood (aka rot). Small dent at rear.

Brand new tires.

All copper piping is solid and intact.

Electrical outlet works.

Battery cables ready to go.

Rock guard still opens and closes smoothly, although fiberglass could use some gussying up.

Propane lines are solid, but they are the original tank components; probably want to replace.

Brake plug is old-style 7-pin, will need to replace. Wiring is intact

All of the lights are broken and need to be replaced. Wiring is fine; junction box will need to be replaced.

What will be included in the deal: Brand new 14×14 vent and cover and materials to replace the main vent. Brand new Ideal brand decals, to inspire you as you complete your restoration. Throw those onto your new paint job and you’ll be traveling in style.Price: $2,800

It is a really cute and classic looking 1963 Fireball 16 foot from back bumper to tip of tongue. Light weight, tows great, has working brakes as well.

It has been polished back to nice shiny aluminum and fresh blue paint for the original shape “v” stripes. Original 1960’s Oregon license plate. Rebuilt with new framing and plywood where needed. Can show pics of repairs if requested. New “retro” looking round LED taillights, original teardrop running lights all working. Recently restored interior with new wood (laminate) flooring, fresh paint, shelf liners, fresh new curtains and décor. Retro brown stove and oven in working order, new propane lines and water lines tested. Has a working fridge/freezer that is gas or electric. No holding tank, no bathroom, but room for a porta potty if wanted. Lots of storage space, clean and ready to go. Has cute original gas lamp. Interior lights work from AC or also some lighting with onboard battery. Nearly new cushions and upholstery on front dinette and back couch/bed. Both make down into beds. The back bed is big enough for queen bedding. All original louvered windows in working order and no leaks! Has large windows in front for lots of nice light. Ceiling vent in good shape as well. I have a 1968 Scotty Gaucho for sale.

The trailer is located at my home in Pasadena, Maryland and is currently tagged and ready for delivery. I’ve owned it for over 10 years and purchased it from a gentleman who restored it for his aunt. He pulled the skin back, insulated it, ran new electric wiring and switches, installed fans, added extended bumper on the rear. I never used the propane but was told everything worked when I purchased it. I primarily used it for sleeping in at Hershey & Carlisle, Pa. swap meets. I have a clear Maryland title.

1965 Shasta loflyte travel trailer. Her name is “Lily “ She is 15 foot long including the hitch and is able to be pulled with any small suv or truck. This little vintage camper is getting extremely rare and hard to find. The inside has been renovated. She has been freshly painted inside with custom chalk paint and freshly painted on the outside as well. We added brand new hardwoord flooring and recovered all original cushions. The orginial stove is in great shape and working condition and there is a propane tank included for the stove. There is a gas hook up on trailer hitch as well. All lights are working and in great condition. All electrical has been checked with an electrician. All tail and running lights are original and working. There is a holding water tank for the sink and the hook up outside. There is also the orginial cover for the sink to extend the countertop space. She has been sealed and there is no leaks. The windows are all orginial and all have original screens. She even comes with the orginial keys and locking door. There are a few dings but looks great and makes the character of this little vintage trailer. There is nothing major outside or in but she is 50 years old. She comes with clean title and registration in hand. To top it off she Sleeps 5+. This camper is ready for a little vintage fall traveling. 25 year old exterior paint, nice patina, an exact match to the Shasta.

(6 volt system) the camper has never been towed with the car, so a bumper hitch and 6 volt bulbs installed in the camper need to be done yet.

The Hudson has good wide white walls.

The Shasta has new tires but could also use wide whites to match.

Wheel bearings just redone with synthetic grease.

It has the Continental package on the rear bumper.

1963 Comanche 14′ This Comanche has been completely restored from the floor up. At time of restoration the floor was inspected and has no water damage. No expense spared in this restoration $12,000.00 spent in materials alone. Including labor this restoration would cost over $20,000.00.

Meet Gidget. A 1965 Shasta compact. She has a title. She is 100% leak free and partially restored. Outside still needs painted. 10 foot long, 1200 pounds. Comes with propane stove/oven, microwave, refrigerator, replacement window, bedding, throw pillows and decor. I am a teacher and I bought this little cutie during the summer with great intention of fixing her up and going camping in the mountains. Well, I bought her too late in the summer and I quickly ran out of time and was back to planning, teaching, and grading before I could get her finished! She’s cute as can be, but not perfect (as the price reflects). The interior was gutted by the previous owner and put back together with what appears to be scrap lumber and materials. The bed is permanent and does not turn into benches like some you may see. As you can see in the pictures, I took the stove out and planned on putting a mini fridge in its place. Price includes both of those appliances so you can decide how you want to use that space. The back window was also removed by the previous owner and sealed up with wood. The side window was replaced with a house window by previous owner. I was able to find a proper window, just ran out of time to install it. She would be perfect all dolled up for a playhouse, reading nook, extra bedroom, craft space, a tearoom, or to take glamping!
